About us
Two local owners. Every job and every call.
Wellman Detailing is run by David and Johnny out of Twin Lakes, WI. One of us is on every job, and one of us always picks up the phone.
Johnny spent over five years in the corporate world and figured he'd be there for the next 30, until a little “delusional” David courage got him to go all in on Wellman full time. He's been into cars since he was a kid, and his eye for detail is why we call him “Johnny on the spot.”
David has been an entrepreneur since high school, running a marketing and film business, a holiday event business and more. He's also never far from his phone, so you'll hear back from us the same day. Together, we get the job done right.

Do I need to be home?
No. Just leave the vehicle where we can get to it and let us know how to get the keys. Lots of customers book us while they're at work.
Do you need my water or power?
No. The van carries its own water and power, so we can work almost anywhere.
How long does a detail take?
An interior or exterior detail usually takes 2.5 to 3.5 hours. A full detail usually takes 3.5 to 5 hours, depending on the vehicle's size and condition.
What are your hours?
Monday through Sunday, 7:30 AM to 6 PM.
What if it rains?
We'll reach out the day of your appointment to let you know if we're still coming or need to reschedule. If you have a garage or carport, that's always an option too.
How do I pay?
We take all major forms of payment through Square, once the job is done and you're happy with it.
Do you do boats and RVs?
Yes. Send a photo with your booking request and we'll quote it, usually the same day.
Do you offer wax, ceramic coating or buffing?
Every exterior and full detail already includes a wax protectant. Ceramic coating, buffing and paint correction are coming in 2027. Ask us to put you on the list!
